Shut Up Fool Studios was originally set up to provide affordable rehearsal space in a helpful environment. Since then we have always sought to help bands with whatever problems they need to overcome, whether is be borrowing a bass amp or recording a great sounding e.p. on a budget. Listed below are some of the way in which we can help you perfect your sound and get you on your way.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals are what we're here for, so no matter what type of music you produce, how loud you play or how experienced you are, we can be on hand to assist.
Block bookings are available.
Photography
Good band and artist photos are a must these days but can be very expensive if you let thing get out of control. We work with some great photographer who offer a professional look at starting out prices
Shop
Shut Up Fool studios has a small spares cabinet, stocking guitar strings (acoustic & electric), bass strings, drum sticks and plectrums. In addition, we sell a good range of soft drinks, energy drinks, water, chocolates and pot Noodles. Tea and coffee is free.
Recording
We do record at Shut Up Fool Studios; the business was set up to allow us to build recording studio so we could spend more time creating. For this reason the studio is always very busy but we're always happy to discuss any projects
Equipment hire
The studio keeps a stock of equipment, some of which can be hired free of charge, others that carry a small charge. We have a Sonar Drum kit as well as guitar and bass amps, just make sure you book in advance. View Hire List
Rock School
We are a venue for the Rock School examination board. Rock School is Europe's No. 1 rock music exam board, offering rock musicians the opportunity to get the same qualifications that classical musicians can get in a fun environment.
