And His Voice Became - R.I.P.?
Sad news is filtering through that the genius that is And His Voice Became are calling it a day. If you're not familiar with the duo, imagine Muse crossed with Zero 7, hypnotic, blissfully euphoric and truely original. There are still songs up on their myspace page, so we'd advise you to click there straight away and grab the tracks before they disappear forever.
They will be missed.

When in Rome When In Rome @ Shutupfool
Local band When in Rome have traveled to the depths of ShutUpFool Studios to record some impressive new tracks in March, With an average age of 18 and some exceptionally well written tunes, this band could well be turning more than a few heads over the coming year. Comparisons rarely please bands but if you think Fallout Boy, 30 Seconds from Mars you'll be in the ballpark.
The Halstead four piece will be playing at a venue near you soon so check their music and movements at www.myspace.com/wheninrome

Codehunters
Ben Hibon, with Stateless Films and Blinkink, created Codehunters for the MTV Asia Awards 2006 in Bangkok. If you've never seen it, take the time to do so now.
Ben's style and clarity is beautifully rendered, creating an atmospheric short that begs for a full length feature.

Ears Wide Open
How can you best described the Non-Londoner Ears Wide Open podcast? Eclectic, random, Odd? With DJ Metrognome's obvious love of so many different types of music, this is truely genre colision at it's best.
Outside of pigeon holes and labels; what this podcast offers is a chance to hear some of the most influential and ground-breaking music of the past, present and future, laid bare without snobbery or prejudice.
